Salaries in Canada are a little bit lower than in USA or Europe. But this is compensated with lower prices of flats and houses in Canada.

Those Canadian at the bottom of 20 per cent fell by 20 per cent comparing last 30 years. The median income for this group dropped from $19,300 in 1980 to $15,300 in 2010. All in 2010 Canadian dollars.

Those people in the middle of 20 per cent group found their salaries stagnate. Statistics Canada shows that this group's median salary was $41,300 in 1980. And pretty much the same 30 years later.

The richest top 20 per cent found their salaries rise by 16 per cent to $86,200. This is also shown in big increase of those who earn above the $100.000 a year. In 1980, 3.4 per cent people reached that value. By 2010 this value jump to 6.5 per cent.

Education

Canada has more affordable education then the US or the UK. Canadian education quality and living standard are among the world's highest. Tuition fees and living costs are lower than in the US and the UK, or many other countries. This attracts many foreign students to study in Canada. Tuition in Canada for full time undergraduate students is around 5,000 CAD in year 2012. The costs for total tuitions in Canada for MBA degrees are from around 5.000 CAD (HEC Montreal) to as high as 58.000 CAD (Queen's University). An average total MBA tuition is around 22.000 CAD.
