"My name is George Amba, and I am the Tides Officer of the National Maritime Safety Authority (NMSA) of PNG. In NMSA, I maintain tide data collected by existing tide gauges, ensure scheduled maintenance are undertaken to ensure the Quality Control of the Tide Gauge Systems, support national and international projects relating to acquisition and sharing of oceanographic data, disseminate Tide Tables/Data to clients and undertake reporting and applied research on crosscutting issues to coastal and ocean sector.
