What I do?
"RESPONSIBILITIES: - BTS (Buy to Sell- Trading) Buyer for 3 regions (MK UK, MK German & MK Singapore) - Monitoring stock level. - Reschedule in and reschedule out the goods based on customer request date. - Plan quantity purchase and issue Purchase Order accordingly. - Liaising with customer service to ensure supply meets demand. E. g. weekly call with Customer service team, update Priority Product request (PPR), update Retail vendor sheet. - Maintain material master (planned delivery time, total replenishment lead time, minimum order quantity, reorder point quality, rounding value, MRP controller, maintain and update PIR and source list) in SAP system. - Maintain vendor master (eg, company information, contact person and bank details) in SAP system. - Work with supplier and reduce production lead time. - Vendor Management inventory: Work with supplier and request them to keep buffer stock at their warehouse. - Work with Forwarder to checking airfreight cost and ensure shipment due on time. - Evaluate vendor delivery performance (OTTR) - Review and set up safety stock level (for spike order) - Meet monthly savings AOP - Liaise with warehouse for goods receive issues. - Review workflow and resolve block invoice daily to avoid supplier on hold shipment based on unpaid invoice. - Work with Product Manager for material obsolete and replacement items."
